Getting your Google Assistant or Google Home connected to your Yonomi account is a quick process!
Get started by visiting our page on the Google Assistant / Google Home website.
Success
If you are successful in getting Yonomi connected to Google by following the below guides you should now be able to see your Yonomi Routines under Yonomi in the Google Home Control page (which you can get to by looking at the steps below).
You will need to have at least one Yonomi Routine configured to be connected successfully, which you will need to create through the Yonomi app.
We treat Google Assistant / Google Home as another client for Yonomi, so there are no Triggers or Actions to add to your Yonomi Routines.
You can now run your Yonomi Routines by saying "OK Google, turn on {routine name}." or "Hey Google, activate {routine name}".

(Note that the following refers to the latest updated apps and may or may not be different for you)
General
Open your respective app and navigate to:
- Settings > Assistant > Home Control
You should now be in the Home Control page and then either:
- Tap on the three dots at top right > Manage accounts
- Tap the blue circle with a plus sign in the middle at the bottom right
Then you will need to find or search for "Yonomi" and follow the prompts which will lead you to providing your Yonomi credentials and giving permission to Google to link to your Yonomi account.
Through Google Home App
Open up the Google Home app and do the following steps:
- Tap on the bottom right account icon (which should look like a portrait of a person) > Settings > Assistant > Home Control
You should now be in the Home Control page and then either:
- Tap on the three dots at top right > Manage accounts
- Tap the blue circle with a plus sign in the middle at the bottom right
Then you will need to find or search for "Yonomi" and follow the prompts which will lead you to providing your Yonomi credentials and giving permission to Google to link to your Yonomi account.
Through Google Assistant
Navigate to the Google Assistant and do the following steps:
- Tap on the compass icon (usually at the bottom right)
This should take you to the Explore page and then:
- Tap on the three dots at the top right > Settings > Assistant > Home Control
You should now be in the Home Control page and then either:
- Tap on the three dots at top right > Manage accounts
- Tap the blue circle with a plus sign in the middle at the bottom right
Then you will need to find or search for "Yonomi" and follow the prompts which will lead you to providing your Yonomi credentials and giving permission to Google to link to your Yonomi account.
